Whether you are just investigating
the christian faith or a relatively new or life long believer, I hope
that the following web pages will have something to help you along your
journey.
The site is divided up into four main sections, as shown on the navigation
bar on the left of the page.
For an overview of the whole site you can look at the site map.
Personally I have found that throughout the various forms of christian
communication; the church, literature, the internet, media, films and
documentaries, training materials, organised meetings and events, there
can be a reluctance to be challenged in our faith.
In fact there sometimes seems to be little between two extremes;
"all loving, happy clappy, life is wonderful and if it's not
then your missing out on the real thing".
And "all fire and brimstone, dull and boring, if your not sour
faced, miserable and talking in a odd, deep-thinking voice, then you must
be one of these wierd evangelicals".
What this site aims to do is provide a more realistic view of
the christian journey. What it aims to say is that, as christians sometimes
we can be either of the above extremes but for
the other 99% of the time we are just normal people, facing the same daily
challenges of life. Changed people, yes. God's people, yes. Trying to
be different, to serve Jesus, yes. But we are also experiencing the ups
and downs of earthly existance and having the additional daily challenge
of becoming more like our creator.
